These Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between you and the operator of Rinza. By accessing, downloading, installing, or using Rinza in any manner, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by any policies referenced in them. If you do not agree, you must not use the app.
If you use Rinza on behalf of another person or an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that person or organization. Your continued use of the service after any update to these Terms also constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
Rinza is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the app, any feature, or any content will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. From time to time, the service may be modified, updated, paused, restricted, or discontinued in whole or in part without prior notice.
We may also change, add, remove, or limit certain features, including recipe management, bake logs, statistics, or virtual currency functions, at our discretion. You acknowledge that temporary unavailability may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rinza and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. In those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You retain ownership of the recipes, photos, notes, bake logs, and any other materials you upload, submit, or create in Rinza (“User Content”). We do not claim ownership over your User Content.
However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, temporary, and limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit your User Content solely for operating, maintaining, improving, and providing the app’s functions to you. This license ends when your content is removed from the service, except to the extent retention is required for legal, security, backup, or technical purposes.
Rinza is a baking-focused recipe management and bake log application designed for personal use. It helps users build a private collection of recipes, organize them by baking categories, and record practical details such as ingredients, steps, temperatures, preparation time, baking time, serving size, difficulty, and photos. It also supports repeated bake logs for each recipe, allowing users to track dates, actual time spent, ratings, notes, and finished results over time.
The app is intended as a warm, lightweight, and visually polished personal tool for home bakers. It is not a general-purpose cooking encyclopedia, a social sharing network, a marketplace, or a shopping assistant. Features such as recipe browsing, favorites, statistics, and storage expansion are designed to help users maintain a private baking knowledge base and review their own improvement history.
Certain functions may require in-app purchases or the use of virtual coins. The first version of the service is intended to support recipe CRUD operations, baking category filtering, favorite marking, bake logs, basic statistics, and storage expansion, while excluding cloud sync, import/export, social sharing, timers, nutrition calculation, and similar functions unless we later choose to add them.
You must be at least 17 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if that age is higher, to use Rinza. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet the legal age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
If you are using the app in a jurisdiction where these Terms are invalid for minors or where parental consent is required, you may use the service only if your parent or legal guardian accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the app.
You agree not to use Rinza in any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or unauthorized manner. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: violating applicable laws; infringing intellectual property or privacy rights; uploading malicious code; interfering with the app’s normal operation; attempting to gain unauthorized access; scraping, crawling, or using bots or automated tools without permission; and reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code, models, or underlying logic except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
You also may not use the app to store or transmit content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, exploitative, or otherwise harmful. The service is designed for personal baking records, not for spam, mass messaging, public promotion, or the distribution of illegal content.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of Rinza at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or others, or used the service in a way that is harmful or abusive. We may also take such action for technical, security, or operational reasons.
You may stop using Rinza at any time. Termination or discontinuation of use does not relieve you of obligations that by their nature should survive, including ownership, indemnity, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law provisions.
Rinza is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the app will be secure, accurate, complete, timely, or free from defects, nor that any data or content you store will be preserved without loss. You use the app at your own risk.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we may update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide notice through the app or by other reasonable means.
If you continue using Rinza after the revised Terms become effective, you will be deemed to have accepted the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, your only remedy is to stop using the service.
Any statistics, summaries, recommendations, labels, charts, or other outputs shown in Rinza are generated automatically from data you provide or from internal processing designed to organize the app experience. These outputs are for informational and convenience purposes only and are not a substitute for professional advice, including food safety, dietary, health, or technical advice.
We do not guarantee that generated results are accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your specific baking process. You remain solely responsible for evaluating and relying on any output, and any use of such information is at your own risk.
Rinza may offer virtual coins or similar in-app items that can be obtained through Apple in-app purchase mechanisms or other authorized payment flows we support. These virtual items are consumable, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not a bank account, stored value account, or legal tender.
Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, all purchases are final and non-refundable. We may modify the pricing, availability, or functionality of virtual currency and any related premium features at any time. You are responsible for ensuring that your purchases are made by you or with your authorization.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the content you provide to Rinza, including recipes, ingredient lists, photos, notes, ratings, and any other submissions. You should only upload content that you have the right to use and that does not violate the rights of others.
You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device, account credentials, and any access method used to interact with the app. If you believe your content has been lost, altered, or accessed without authorization, you should take appropriate steps promptly and notify us if necessary.
Rinza, including its software, design, user interface, visual elements, trademarks, logos, text, and other app materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you receive a limited right to use the app for personal purposes only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from the app or its non-user content unless we give you prior written permission or applicable law permits it.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rinza, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use Rinza for your own personal, non-commercial baking organization and recordkeeping purposes, strictly in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to resell, redistribute, publicly display, or exploit the app commercially.
Any use outside this scope requires our prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us and our licensors.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to Rinza will be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction that applies based on our operating entity and the laws otherwise applicable to the matter, without regard to conflict-of-law principles to the extent permitted.
If any dispute must be brought in a court of law, it shall be brought in a competent forum determined under applicable law, unless a mandatory consumer protection rule provides otherwise.
